Made with the authentic technique of iron casting in sand molds, this door handle radiates traditional craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully finished by hand so that it retains its unique character.
At Créations du Fer we only choose solid iron, which guarantees durability and quality.
The iron undergoes a natural rusting process followed by treatment with a dark beeswax for an even effect. If there are large color differences, the process must be repeated.
As with wood, maintenance in humid environments requires regular treatment with wax, which forms a protective layer against further oxidation.
